Jeg er en af mange der mener Bengt Holst skal ud fra Danmarks zoo. Og vi får en ny person der tænker og føler anderledes på dyrene derinde, et raskt dyr især et sundt dyr bør leve. Og om ikke få chancen et andet sted, eller den bør steriliseres . Så havde der intet problem været for at den kunne have levet Idag. Det er så ubarmhjerteligt dette sker i vort land! Koldt kynisk aflivning af dyr støtter jeg slet ikke op om! Man afliver heller ingen person fordi der mangler plads til dem .men finder et sted der er egnet. Der var mange tilbud fra indland og udland , til at redde Marius liv. Men brev og mail blev ignoreret af de der tilbød et sted hvorfor ??? Reagerede ingen der .

Warum macht man solche Sachen, wenn es doch so viele Lösungen gab. Und die größte Schweinerei war, das diese Grausamkeit vor KINDERN (!!!) getan wurde.

I will never put a foot in your so-called zoo or in your country. God help your children if they are led to believe that a fun day out is to watch a frightened baby animal being murdered and fed to the lions. Shame on you.

Hello Christina. I have just signed the petition and was thinking about that horrible thing happened at Kobenhavn. I think a good argument for banning these people (zoo director) and also zoo's in general would be, that it costs thousands of DKK/Euros/Dollars to bring those animals around the world to Europe and so on .... And who is paying for that transportation?  Tax payers of course! And theyre killing and feeding them to other animals and on top in front of childrens eyes! (to set a political statement as argument...guess this will come good...) Best regards. Heiko

#1: -  maybe the zoo should try to train the lions to be vegetarians, and all the other predators too, so whats the problem ? because the giraffe is so cute? that they dit it in public? all around the world the zoos doing it like that without viewers. so learn something from it even the kids! there where accidents with kids in zoo´s because they thougt predators are harmless ( i remember -a kid was loosing a arm from a wolf attack). another fact when Bears have little pets and when they adults, suddently you can have speciality bearsteaks in restaurants!!!

Besøker ikke København zoo igjen, dere har drept et uskyldig dyr, som dessverre ikke gjorde noe annet en og bli født! Ingen besøk fra oss i Norge, hele mitt venne nettverk i Europa vil også boikotte denne plassen. Håper at andre oppegående dyreparker ikke sender dyr ditt.

Ich finde, es ist ein Verbrechen an einem unschuldigen Tier und war völlig sinnlos, denn ein anderer Zoo hätte den Giraffen-Bullen mit Sicherheit aufgenommen. Das Tier öffentlich zu töten bzw.zu schlachten, ist ein grausames Schauspiel und ich könnte mir gut vorstellen, dass so manches Kind jetzt Alpträume bekommt!

Das war eine abscheuliche Grausamkeit - die fast nicht mehr zu überbieten ist - da sie von "Menschen" ausgeführt wurde, von denen man es eigentlich nicht erwarten sollte.
Mich würde der "wahre Hintergrund" dieser frevelhaften Tat interessieren - da ja Übernahme-Angebote von anderen Zoos vorlagen!
Einfach unglaublich und in der heutigen Zeit nicht nachvollziehbar!

Abgesehen von der Tierquälerei: Soll es DAS (Tiere im Zoo schlachten, anstatt hegen) sein, was Kinder dort lernen sollen? Dieser Zoo traumatisiert Kinder, die dieses "Spektakel" wohl nie vergessen werden!

This birth should not have happened at all!!!! The foetus could have been aborted. Or: instead of waiting almost 2years, this 'operation' could have been done right after birth!!!!! Also, it should under no circumstances have been public!!!!
Most of all: THIS CONCEPTION SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED AT ALL ! ! ! !

The doctor, who cut Marius into pieces, and is standing the with a microphone should also be disciplined! Nicht nur der Zoodirektor sollte die Konsequenzen seines Handelns zu spüren bekommen, auch der Tierarzt der mit dem Mikro dort steht und das Tier zerteilt!! Echt Pfui!! Man besucht ja auch nicht mit seinen Kindern einen Schlachthof und sagt: schau ... so werden die Tiere getötet und zerteilt!!!
