Obwohl Dänemark ein EU-Land ist, macht es auf uns alle einen sehr schlechten Eindruck. In Ihrem Land werden Hunde - Wale - Delfine - und jetzt auch eine Giraffe, nur weil sie ein Tier zuviel ist, getötet. Sie bemühen sich erst garnicht für die Giraffe einen anderen Platz zu finden. Für Sie ist Töten wohl sehr einfach. Ich schäme mich für Sie.

Giraffes are endangered; it is bad enough you have them imprisoned in your zoo; but you also treat them as disposable property; all animals have the right to live free in a safe healthy environment, free from harm and abuse, torture shooting and murder. Respect and Protect All Life

Jeg haaber saa sandelig, at Koebenhavns Zoo kommer paa bedre tanker!! Hvis andre Dyreparker har tilbudt at aftage "overskudsdyret", saa er det da den eneste loesning! Og goer os saa lige den tjeneste at sterilisere Jeres dyr, hvis I ikke har plads til flere!! Og ikke flere avisoverskrifter ( = billetindtaegter), naar der foedes "en lille ny" i Zoo!!
MIG skal I ikke regne med at se mere!

What they are going to do is unconscionable. Especially when two other zoo's have made requests for the giraffe and have received no return interest. Killing this young giraffe needs to be stopped at all costs. Something is truly odd when they insist on killing him even though he could be transferred to an out of country zoo.

det kan da ikke være rigtigt at en uskyldig giraf skal slås ihjel bare fordi der ikke er plads , så skal den da sendes et andet sted hen som til den person I sverige eller et andet zoo , hvad sker der I DK.

Zoos should be teaching care and respect for all animals not that they are disposable assets. They are not commodities to to be used and discarded when they become surplus to requirements. Their butcher is not entertainment.

Nu är nog allt försent. Marius skulle dödas kl. 10 och med den hårdnackade chefen som står fast vid sitt beslut vilka räddningsalternativ som än föreslogs så är det nog försent att rädda giraffungen. Usch för sådana fega vägar - smitvägar för att visa sin makt att man har rätt och kan besluta om liv och död. RIP Marius <3

Jeg regner med at direktørerne i Copenhagen Zoo efterlever denne talemåde, så glæder mig helt vildt til at se disse direktører blive skudt med boltpistol og efterfølgende blive obduceret live

Evidently there is no limit to the way humans treat other animals, when it comes down to making money - the root of all evil - come their way.......shame......the only word here which will never go away, no matter how hard they try, the murder of Marius will now, thanks to this collection of signatures, not be forgotten.....rip.....

Für das was passiert ist mal wieder der Mensch Schuld. Marius ist schutzbedürftig und steht somit unter der Obhut des Menschen. Bitte laßt ihn leben und gebt ihm ein schönes Zuhause.
