As a conductor, having had the great experience of working with this wonderful group of musicians, I find it a true tragedy if this orchestra should close. The recordings with Fischer are of a very high musical standard that should be considered a highpoint nationally as well as internationally. Should these talented and dedicated musicians who have given so much musical enjoyment over the years find themselves unemployed, the politicians who have taken this decision will have done a grave disservice to the musical and cultural life of Denmark.

 Exactly! My finance and I have during the last years enjoyed the beautiful music from this truly amazing orchestra. They have led us into music that we a few years back never listen to being the hard rock and electronica fans that we are. IT is simply an outrage committed by the visionless management of DR. They have with this decision made Denmark a cultural poorer nation. They have removed a cultural beacon standing out from the insulting mainstream filling our cultural scene. DR's management normally abreast them selves as management of THE cultural flagship in DK. Now they have shown themselves a simple merchants of stupidity and depraved Denmark of this wonderful piece of light in a our everyday life. I would like to extend my most heartfelt gratitude to all you musicians and conductors for bringing beauty into my life. Thank you.
